The Church of Albania honored in a festive atmosphere the commemoration of the Chief Apostles Peter and Paul.
Metropolitan Andon of Elbasan presided the Divine Service held at the Holy Church of the same name, in Peqin, Elbasan.
There were also present children from camp, whom the Metropolitan blessed and gave them commemorative medals.
Bishop Astios of Vilida officiated at St. Paul and Peter Holy Church in the village Rhushkull of Albania.
It is also worth noting that after the Orthros (Matins) and the Sacred Service at Apostle Paul and Asti Church in Durres, the congregation was offered confectionery.
A crowd of faithful also gathered worshipfully at the historic Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Gjirokastra.
