The Greek Minister of Education, Religion, and Sports of Greece, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, held a meeting in London with the Greek Ambassador, Yannis Tsaousis, and the Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain.
Their discussions revolved around addressing the needs of the Greek community in the UK, with a particular focus on the considerable student population studying there.
During his visit, Pierrakakis also toured the permanent exhibition “Giorgos Seferis: the man, the poet, the diplomat” at Greece in UK. The exhibition offers insights into the life and literary legacy of the esteemed poet, commemorating six decades since he was awarded the Nobel Prize.
