The Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritis, held a telephone conversation with his Romanian counterpart, Luminița Odobescu, as announced by the Greek Foreign Ministry on Platform X. During the discussion, both ministers expressed concern over the escalating situation in the Middle East and the ongoing tensions in Kosovo.
Minister Gerapetritis also took the opportunity to express his gratitude for Romania’s timely assistance in combating the devastating wildfires in Attica, Greece.
Additionally, the two ministers agreed to arrange an in-person meeting in the near future to further discuss these and other pressing matters, reinforcing the strong bilateral relations between Greece and Romania.
