Metropolitan Chrysostomos III of Mani honoured St. Athanasius, with the archieratic Divine Liturgy, which he celebrated in the homonymous parish church in Arna and preached the divine word underlining the theological value and importance of the doctrines in the Church.
The incarnation of the Son and Logos of God and His Resurrection from the dead have dogmatic grounds established by the Church through the values of the Ecumenical Synods, the first Holy Synods.
Chrysostomos noted that the doctrinal teaching of the Church is not dead words. “It is our living belief about this and I advise you all to learn and know well the Confession of our Faith, the ‘Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed’.”
