On Monday afternoon, 20 November 2023, at the celebrating Church of the Presentation of Our Lady to the Temple, in the Melbourne suburb of North Balwyn, the Great Vespers took place, officiated by Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, who was joined by the Parish Priest, Father Nicholas Georgiou, and by other priests of the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne.
Also present for the feast day Vespers was Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis conveyed to the congregation the paternal wishes and blessings of Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
