The Holy Unction Service in Perth

The Holy Unction Service in Perth

On Great and Holy Wednesday evening, Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea Presided at the Holy Unction Service at the Church of Sts Constantine and Helene in Northbridge.

At the conclusion of the service the faithful were anointed with the Holy Oil for the healing of soul and body. While this was taking place the Matins Service of Holy Thursday was simultaneously being conducted.

At the conclusion of the Holy Unction Service and just prior to the commencement of the Matins Service, Bishop Elpidios conveyed to all the faithful the paternal blessings of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, for a salvific and holy Pascha.
