Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne, presided over the Service of the Akathist Hymn on Friday, April 19, at the Church of St. Catherine in the suburb of Malvern, Melbourne.
The Bishop was accompanied by the Hierarchical Head Fr. Georgios Adamakis and Fr. Dimitrios Drougas, while the Consul General of Greece in Melbourne Emmanuel Kakavelakis attended.

On the same afternoon, Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta presided over the Service of the Akathist Hymn at the Archdiocesan Church of the Virgin Mary “Axion Esti” in Northcote, Victoria.
Subsequently, a Holy Vigil was held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with the participation of many clergy of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote.
