On Great and Holy Tuesday evening, 30 April 2024, Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis officiated at the third Bridegroom Service (Matins of Great and Holy Wednesday), during which the Hymn of Kassiani is chanted, at the Church of Saint Haralambos in Templestowe, Melbourne.
The Service was conducted by Father Menelaos Hatzoglou, while also present and joined in prayer were Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, from the Patriarchate of Alexandria, Parish Priest Father Elias Kentrotis and Father Dimitrios Drougas.
At the end of the Matins Service, Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis conveyed to the faithful the blessings and wishes of their Chief Shepherd, Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
