Taking into account the alarming spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the suggestions of the state authorities and the concerns of the Luxembourg Orthodox people, Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium and Exarch of the Netherlands and Luxembourg decided to cancel the inter-orthodox Divine Liturgy, which was programmed to be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
The inter-Orthodox Divine Liturgy would be held at the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas at the Weiler-la-Tour of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The reception that was to follow will also be canceled.
However, the Divine Liturgy will be held on Sunday as usual.
