The Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs of Greece is establishing Greek language classes in Austria with the assistance of the Metropolis of Austria.
As the Deputy Minister of Education, Sofia Zacharaki, announced through her personal Facebook account that the Metropolis of Austria will undertake to cover the housing and operating expenses of these classes, while the Ministry of Education will undertake the secondment of teachers and the shipment of books.
Greek language classes will be set up in both Salzburg and Graz, Austria, where more than 7,000 Greeks live.
