The Holy Metropolis of Austria announced that the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate has unanimously elected Archimandrite Maxim Rudko as Auxiliary Bishop of the Metropolis.
This decision follows the proposal of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the request of Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria. Archimandrite Maxim Rudko, currently serving as Protosyncellus of the Holy Metropolis of Austria, has been appointed with the title of the historic See of Arista.
The Metropolis extended its best wishes for a successful and blessed ministry to the newly appointed Auxiliary Bishop.
