The Prelate of the Ukrainian Church, Metropolitan Epifaniy, shared a prayer on social media in favor of the family.
As it is very common for Ukrainians to communicate through social media, this is one of the ways that the Ukrainian Church uses to be close to its faithful.
The goal of the Church of Ukraine and Metropolitan Epifaniy is to enable even those Ukrainians who are not close to the Church, to understand in simple words the essence of our faith and its great usefulness.
“The family is a great value, the fruit of God’s love. Just as a building is made of bricks, so society is made up of families. And when every family builds within itself relationships based on love, mutual respect, trust, keeping God’s commandments, listening to the Lord, and rejecting all evil and unnecessary – then, with God’s blessing, a strong and free nation emerges” wrote Metropolitan Epiphaniy.
The Metropolitan added: “Today we offer our prayers so that Ukrainian families adhere to Christian values and raise their children in love with the Word of God. So that parents can be worthy mentors and examples for their children and children can be a consolation for their parents, honor, and glory for the people”.
