Fifty-two catechumens of all ages, from infants to middle-aged, coming from the parish communities of the area, were baptised today by Metropolitan Panteleimon of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabonat at the outdoor baptistery of the Cathedral of Saint Demetrios in Pointe Noire, Congo.
The Metropolitan of Congo-Brazzaville first explained the parts of the mystery and gave advice to the new members of the Church. Then, he conveyed the brotherly wishes of Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria and the Patriarchate of Alexandria to everybody.
