In a heartwarming ceremony, Bishop Prodromos of the Holy Diocese of Toliara and South Madagascar officiated the group baptisms of 140 converts. This momentous event, celebrated by the local Church, was joyously shared on social media, highlighting the enthusiastic reception of the new members and acknowledging the significant contribution of volunteers from Cyprus.
The Diocese expressed profound happiness, stating, “By the grace of God, 140 people of all ages were united with our Orthodox Church. Our hearts are filled with joy as we witness these souls being reborn and walking the path of salvation.”
The presence of the Cypriot volunteers, led by Father Vasileios of the Holy Church of Ayia Napa, was particularly noted. Their love and devotion enriched the event, bringing additional blessings and the love of the Lord to the occasion.
As emphasized by the Diocese, “At this sacred moment, the volunteers from Cyprus were with us, with love and devotion, under the guidance of Father Vasileios. Their presence was a blessing, enriching our work with the love and blessing of the Lord.”
