On Tuesday, January 21, Metropolitan Panteleimon of Brazzaville and Gabon traveled to the city of Dolisie to visit the Orthodox Schools “Light to the Nations” and the “Saint Efstathios” Orphanage.
Metropolitan Panteleimon offered food, which was generously donated by the Archdiocese of Australia and Archbishop Makarios, and worked with technicians to carry out work on the building.
Afterwards, he held a meeting with the pupils of the adjacent primary school “Light to the Nations” of the Metropolis and he paid a verification visit to its premises in order to record any damage and repair them as soon as possible. A verification visit was also carried out at the wooden passage that the local Church had constructed two years ago, in order to greatly reduce the distance between the aforementioned school, the orphanage, the Parish Church of Saint Fotini, and the town center of Dolisie.
