Metropolis of New Zealand to celebrate 200 years of Greek Revolution with lectures

Metropolis of New Zealand to celebrate 200 years of Greek Revolution with lectures

As part of the programme of commemorations for the 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence, the Metropolis of New Zealand announced that Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand will be presenting a talk on the impact of the Orthodox Church before and during the Hellenic War of Independence of 1821 at the Hellenic New Zealand Congress on Sunday, March 21.

It is mentioned that this series of lectures which will include other notable speakers including Professor Antonis Vitalis and Professor John Davidson amongst others and will run for three consecutive evenings at 6.00 pm (Wellington New Zealand time), that is, Sunday, March 21, Monday, March 22, and Tuesday, March 23.
