With great reverence and sanctity, the Great Feast of Pentecost was celebrated again this year at the Holy Church of the Holy Trinity, Saweni, in the Fiji Islands, of the Holy Metropolis of New Zealand.
The holy services held at the Church of the Holy Trinity were presided over by the first Fijian priest Protopresbyter Fr. Bartholomew Senibulu, supported by Fr. Michael Psaromatis, a visiting cleric of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, and local priests Fr. Georgios Pillay and Fr. Andronikos Erasmus. The Holy Chanting stand was filled by children of the Orphanage of Saint Tabitha.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy and the Vespers of the Holy Spirit, the procession of the holy icon of the Holy Trinity took place in the forecourt, followed by the customary festive lunch and event in the Parish Hall.
Finally, the Dean of the Parish of the Holy Trinity in Saweni Fiji, Fr. Andronikos Erasmus, conveyed the festive wishes and the paternal blessing of Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand. At the same time, he thanked the priests and all the believers who were present.
