Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand visits Saint John’s College

Today, Monday 29 May 2023, Saint John’s College, Preston, had the privilege of welcoming His Eminence Archbishop Myron of New Zealand for a tour through the college grounds and facilities.

Metropolitan Myron held warm and interesting conversations with our students and staff, in particular about the curriculum and co-curricular programs and activities, as well as the Greek language program.

His Eminence Metropolitan Myron is currently raising money to build a school in Fiji and Saint John’s College will be supporting this blessed work.

Fr John Frangos, the Chair of the College Board, on behalf of Saint John’s College offered His Eminence Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand a donation from the students of the College to the children of the Greek Orthodox mission in Fiji. Saint John’s College prays for the blessed continuation of the misionary works of the Holy Metropolis of New Zealand in Fiji.
