On Tuesday, January 21, 2020, in the Chapel of the Diocese of the Holy Metropolis of Belgium, the Holy Temple of Saint Marina, Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium and Exarch of the Netherlands and Luxemburg officiated at the Vespers and then blessed and cut the Vasilopita.
In his speech, the Metropolitan referred to the issue of the unity of Christians and the efforts to restore visible unity within the framework of the Ecumenical Movement. In particular, however, he referred to the offer and initiatives of the Ecumenical Patriarchate toward this direction.
