On Sunday, December 3, following the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of the Taxiarches in Maputo, Mozambique, the Catechetical School session commenced. Excited young students, accompanied by Catechists and Parents, brought forth the Christmas decorations they had diligently prepared. Guided to the awaiting Christmas tree, they joyfully adorned its branches with their creations and nestled the little manger at its base while singing Christmas carols.
As Christmas draws near, the spirit of celebration blankets villages, towns, and homes. Adorned Christmas trees, each bearing a manger at their roots, stand as a symbol of the imminent birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of the world, resonating across every corner of the earth.
