The plenary session of the Hellenic Parliament introduces the protocol for FYROM’s accession to NATO today. The process will be finalized with the vote that will take place late at Friday night.
According to ANA-MPA, the draft law “Ratification of the Protocol to the North Atlantic Treaty for the Accession of the Republic of North Macedonia” made its way to the Plenary Session on Thursday, with a positive recommendation by the majority of the standing parliamentary committee on Foreign and National Defense.
The Committee meeting was concluded on Thursday afternoon and, based on the discussion and the positions of committee members, the draft law was adopted by majority.
