The new manuals of the history of Ukraine, which will be published in 2019, they will cover the information of receiving Tomos on the autocephaly for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine reported.
“Students study the history of independent Ukraine in the 11th grade, and this year we will publish new manuals. When we received Tomos on the autocephaly for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. I instructed the Ministry to include the events to the new school program of the history of Ukraine. The authors, who are going to publish new manuals this year, should bear this information in mind”, Lilia Grynevych, the Minister of the Education and Science of Ukraine, said according to reports from risu.org.ua.
According to the Minister, new methodological recommendations will be published as well for the history teachers, in order to explain the new topic of receiving Tomos on autocephaly for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to students properly.
