Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus presided the Archieratic Divine Liturgy held at Genethlion Sotiros (Birth of Christ) Church in Tala, Paphos, which is also the Archbishop’s birth place.
Several believers participated in the brilliant Divine Liturgy, praying to the Holy Trinity and then attended the Kneeling Vesper.
In his sermon, Archbishop Chrysostomos called on the faithful to accept the divine grace given by today’s important Feast like the Apostles who were awaiting the promised by Jesus Christ power from on high, when the Holy Spirit descended on them.
After the Divine Liturgy, the Kneeling Vespers were performed, during which Kneeling Prayers were prayed from the Holy Altar, in front of the Beautiful Gate.
