The Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church decided on Tuesday, February 26, to found four holy metropolises in the territory of the Patriarchal Exarchate in Southeast Asia.
According to Vladimir Legoyda, chairman of the Synodal Department for Church’s Relations, the four Metropolises that will be founded are:
1) Singapore
2) Korean
3) Thailand
4) Philippines – Vietnam
According to Vladimir Legoyda, during the session of the Holy Synod, there were also discussions on the organization of the Asian Exarchate and the Exarchate of Western Europe.
