On March 15, 2024, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia, accompanied by members of his entourage, arrived in Moscow for the funeral service and burial of Bishop Antonije of Moravica, the vicar of the Patriarchate of Serbia to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, and was received by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
Patriarch Porfirije expressed gratitude to Patriarch Kirill for his personal care and attention to the late Bishop Antonije, as well as for the support and assistance extended during his treatment. They also discussed the fraternal cooperation between their respective Churches and peoples, emphasizing mutual satisfaction with the relationship. Special attention was given to the challenges confronting the Orthodox Church.
