Οn Sunday morning Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis served Matins and the Divine Liturgy for the special feast of Palm Sunday, where Christ enters Jerusalem welcomed by the multitudes of people holding branches of palms and chanting Hosanna.
Assisting Bishop Bartholomew was newly ordained Father Anastasios Kalogerakis who also delivered the sermon.
At the end of the service, Bishop Bartholomew thanked Father Anastasios for accepting his invitation to travel to Tasmania to assist in the services.
In addition, Bishop Bartholomew wished the congregation a great Easter on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios and once again spoke about the importance of love and unity.
Bishop Bartholomew then handed out palm Sunday crosses.
