Today, October 2, 2021, in the morning, pilgrims from the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine paid a pilgrimage visit to the Monastery of Strofades and Saint Dionysios in Zakynthos, led by Metropolitan Simeon of Vinnytsia and Bar from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine led by Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and all Ukraine.
Metropolitan Simeon and the pilgrims were warmly received by Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Dodoni, who welcomed them to the island and expressed support of the Church in Zakynthos for the new Orthodox Church of Ukraine, initially, in the context of the recognition by the Church of Greece following the just and canonical decision of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to grant the Autocephaly Tomos to the Church of Ukraine.
