Patriarch John X of Antioch sent a message of condolences to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, expressing the condolences of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch for the victims of yesterday’s attack in Moscow.

“At the beginning of the Holy Lenten Season of Mercy, we write to you asking the Lord of Mercy to have mercy on his world.
We write to you to express our deep sorrow, heartfelt solidarity, and condolences for the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted Moscow last night. We pray to the Lord to keep you in good health and peace and to protect the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian people from all harm.
We pray to the Lord to have mercy on the souls of the departed, to bring healing to the wounded, and to provide comfort to your hearts and the hearts of the families of the victims, In His infinite mercy, may He provide comfort and consolation during this time of profound loss.”
