The educational work of St. Athanasius Theological School of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa is reinforced.
St. Athanasius Theological School is located in the historic Monastery of St. Savvas the Sanctified and is the nursery of young priests and officials who can offer their services in Africa.
The Primate of Alexandria warmly thanked the Ministry of Education that responded to the request of the Patriarchate to cover this necessary and important position for the educational needs of Saint Athanasius Theological School and welcomed the philologist George Tsitsipinis.
“African young people studying in this school teach the peace and love of Christ in their countries,” said the Patriarch of Alexandria. The Patriarch concluded: “The Alexandrian Church has not only a past but also a present and a future.”
