The Feast of the Circumcision of Christ and the feast of St. Basil, Archbishop of Caesarea, were solemnly celebrated at St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Birmingham.
Bishop Maximos of Melitene presided over the Divine Liturgy, accompanied by the priestly Head of the Cathedral, Archim. Christodoulos Kokliotis.
Immediately after the Divine Liturgy, the Doxology on the first of the New Year and the cutting of the Vasilopita followed, while the traditional Carols were chanted.
