With deep sorrow, we learned about the passing away from this world, after a long suffering that he endured with much courage, of the one who was the 265th bishop of Rome, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, a venerable and well-known contemporary personality.
We share in the grief of Your Holiness caused by this loss and send our condolences to the entire Roman Catholic Church.
We pray to the Lord Jesus Christ, the One Who is the resurrection and the life (cf. John 11:25), to rest the soul of Pope Benedict XVI in the light, peace, and love of the Most Holy Trinity.
