The installation of photovoltaic modules and the support of the Greek state to Mount Athos were discussed at the meeting of Kostis Hatzidakis, Minister of Environment and Energy, with the leadership of the Holy Community.
In the meeting, which was also attended by the Civil Governor of Mount Athos, Athanasios Martinos, the topics of biological treatment, fire pre plans of the forests of Mount Athos, as well as its inclusion in the Natura Protected Areas Network to protect the ecosystem, were also addressed.
