On Holy Tuesday Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey visited the parish of Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Frederick, MD where he was enthusiastically welcomed by the beloved youth of the parish. In his homily during the Bridegroom Service he reflected on the sinful woman from the Hymn of Kassiani and how she is model for all of us as her humility and repentance brought her next to Christ. Following the service a Lenten dinner was offered by the parish Philoptochos in honor of the Metropolitan’s first visit to the parish as Metropolitan.
