On January 20-21, 2024, Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey visited the community of St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church in Vineland, New Jersey for the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of the Community.
On Saturday, the parish hosted a 50th Anniversary Banquet to celebrate the historic occasion. During his remarks to the attendees Metropolitan Apostolos congratulated the dedicated faithful for their tremendous work to establish this beautiful parish, to keep our traditions alive, and have offered our faith for the past 50 years to the people of Vineland, however, as the Metropolitan said, 50 years is just the beginning and now the foundation is set for the future generations to come. Metropolitan Apostolos also expressed his gratefulness to Katina Andreadis Doucett for donating the land where the parish was built, in honor of her son, Anthony of blessed memory.
On Sunday, the 50th Anniversry Celebrations continued as Metropolitan Apostolos celebrated the Orthros and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the parish.
