On Wednesday, August 28, the Funeral Service shall be held for the late Metropolitan Hierotheos of Lemnos and Agios Efstratios, at 17:00, in the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Myrina.
The Church of Greece, in its announcement, expresses its deep sorrow and grief over the death of the Metropolitan of Lemnos.
Furthermore, in the same announcement, the Church of Greece appoints Metropolitan Iakovos of Mytilene, Eressos and Plomari, Iakovos, as locum tenens for the Holy Metropolis of Lemnos and Agios Efstratios.
