Metropolitan Pavlos of Servia and Kozani performed the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saint Paraskevi in Kozani and called on the faithful to receive Holy Communion by using a common spoon.
According to ethnos.gr, Metropolitan Pavlos stressed that he called on the faithful to do so because they “believe that it is the Body and Blood of the Lord.” He urged those who do not believe in that not to come. “Our country is full of lies and, therefore, God will allow suffering,” he said.
Metropolitan Pavlos added, “There are more believers in Greece than in other countries and that is why we have fewer deaths.”
