Metropolitan Athinagoras of Belgium held a visit to his predecessor, Metropolitan Panteleimon, formerly of Belgium, in Chios.
Since his enthronement in 2013, Metropolitan Athinagoras visited his predecessor every year to express his respect, gratitude, and the feelings of the clerics and the faithful of the Metropolis of Belgium and the Exarchate of the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Metropolitan Athinagoras also expressed his gratitude to the brother and the family of Metropolitan Panteleimon.
Metropolitan Athinagoras of Belgium also visited Metropolitan Markos of Chios with whom he had a a lengthy discussion.
