Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent a message of support to Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece in which he expressed support and warm wishes on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarchate for a speedy recovery.
The Ecumenical Patriarch’s message is the following:
Your Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece,
Blessed brother and co-celebrant with my humble self,
It was with great emotion that we were informed that You have been admitted to the hospital. We will pay you a visit as soon as possible in order to express support on behalf of the Mother Church and of everyone who has been serving in the Ecumenical Patriarchate. I would like to express my warmest wishes. May the Grace of God and the Entry of the Theotokos help You recover soon in order for You to return to Your duties safe and sound. We hope that You will be serving for many years with the Blessing of the Lord and for the sake of the Church.
Your beloved brother and co-celebrant,
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew
