Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent a message of empathy and solidarity to Patriarch Ioannis of Antioch the terrorist attack on the Holy Temple of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, which claimed the lives of innocent children.
The Ecumenical Patriarch in his letter expressed his shock at the violent death of innocent victims.
He also emphasized that the Ecumenical Patriarchate always fight and pray for the love and solidarity of nations and peoples, and world peace.
He also said that he prayed “for the eradication of intolerant religious fanaticism and violence arising as a result or a response, so that the Christ’s kingdom will be an earthly kingdom where he reigns on earth for a thousand years.”
