The re-elected Greek MEP, Manolis Kefalogiannis, held an official visit to the Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium and the Exarch of the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The two parts had a cordial meeting that took place on Tuesday, June 25, at the seat of the Holy Metropolis.
Manolis Kefalogiannis expressed his faithfulness and dedication to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Mother of the Church of Constantinople, which he will continue to assist and support, and briefed Metropolitan Athenagoras on the current developments in Europe after the European parliament elections on May 2019.
Metropolitan Athenagoras thanked the MEP for his visit while he referred to the activities of the Holy Metropolis and especially to the celebrations of the Golden Jubilee in November and the forthcoming visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch to the Benelux countries. Finally, the Metropolitan wished much success for the benefit of Greece and Europe.
