The Ecumenical Patriarchate sends an official delegation to the Thronal Feast of the Roman Catholic Church from 27 June to 29 June on the feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.
According to Romfea.gr, the delegation is led by Archbishop Job of Telmessos, Co-President of the Joint International Commission of Theological Dialogue between the Roman Catholic and the Orthodox Churches, who studied theology with specialization in liturgy.
The delegation consists of Bishop Maximos of Melitene, Assistant Bishop of the Metropolis of France, who studied history, political sciences and theology with specialization in diplomatic relations, and Deacon Bosporios, Codecographer of the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
On Friday, June 28, the delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate will hold a private meeting with Pope Francis and will have discussions with the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. Then an official luncheon will be held in honor of the Pontiff.
On Saturday, June 29, the delegation will attend the Great Divine Liturgy in St. Peter’s Basilica, where the Pope will concelebrate the Divine Liturgy with dozens of Cardinals and Archbishops from all over the world.
