Metropolitan Makarios of Nairobi celebrated with pomp the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration on the outskirts of Nairobi, in Kamagoo.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan held the annual memorial service for Archbishop Makarios III of Cyprus.
In his speech, the Metropolitan referred to the role and the great contribution of the late with the establishment of the Patriarchal School that really serves the pastoral functions and the missionary needs of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and all Africa.
