A meeting took place on Tuesday, July 16, in Sofia to discuss the issue of heresy and the Ukrainian autocephaly issue.
The meeting was attended by Patriarch Neofit of Bulgaria, Metropolitan Seraphim of Nevrokopion, Metropolitan Polykarpos of Sofia, Bishop Christophoros of Karpasia from the Church of Cyprus, as well as professors and theologians.
The Bishop of Karpasia conveyed the wishes and blessings of Archbishop Chrysostomos II of Cyprus, as well as thanked everyone for the co-operation that exists in matters of heresy.
Also, Bishop Christophoros reported that for 10 years inter-Orthodox meetings have taken place and some 2,000 pages on dealing with the heresies have been collected, which will soon be published.
