Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia congratulated the Primate of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Neofit, on the anniversary of his ascension to the Patriarchal throne.
In his letter, Patriarch Kirill mentions the dedication of Patriarch Neophyte, and wishes him “beneficial spiritual and physical strength”.

Your Holiness,
Beloved Brother and Concelebrant at the altar of God:
Please accept my sincere congratulations on the anniversary of your ascension to the Patriarchal throne of the Most Holy Bulgarian Orthodox Church.
Having dedicated yourself to the service of God, you abound in knowledge and in all diligence (2 Cor. 8:7). With meekness and humbleness having accepted on your shoulders the heavy cross of Primatial ministry, you continue the spiritual feat performed by the late Patriarchs Kirill and Maxim – the work of faith, and labour of love (I Thes. 1:3).
On this day so solemn for you, I prayerfully wish you beneficial spiritual and physical strength, fortitude and generous help from the Saviour of the world in our further Patriarchal ministry.
