A Divine Liturgy was held in a reverential atmosphere, on Sunday, August 4, in the Turkish occupied village of Agios Andronikos in the Karpas, in honour of the patron saint of the village, Saint Photini (Fotou) the Cypriot the Wonderworker.
The Divine Liturgy was officiated by Bishop Christophoros of Karpasia.
Many faithful, descended from Agios Andronikos as well as other areas, flooded the single church dedicated to St. Photini, where there is an underground carved catacomb where the tomb of the Saint is located.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy a procession of the icon followed.
