The state expects the decision of the extraordinary meeting of the Hierarchy of the Church of Greece, according to the statements of Minister of Education Kostas Gavroglu.
Speaking at the real.fm radio station, Gavroglu stressed that “today we expect the formal decision of the Hierarchy, we will evaluate it and we will act accordingly.”
The Minister of Education noted that there was a significant intervention by the Archbishop saying that the debate on the whole matter should continue.
“If the hierarchs have obsessions and do not want any progress, the responsibility is taken by those who do not want things to progress and prefer to remain in a problematic regime, and the proposal gives us a way out,” the minister said.
