On Easter Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the feast of the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and Saints Raphael, Nicholas, and Irene was celebrated in Houthalen, in the province of Limburg, Belgium, presided by the Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium, with the participation of the clergy of the province of Limburg.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan expressed his thanks to the clergy present for their participation in the feast and wished joy to the faithful who came to honor the memory of their beloved saints.
Furthermore, he called on the faithful to have hope for the peace of the world, the risen Christ, and wished for the immediate end of the war in long-suffering Ukraine and the prevalence of peace, for which the Church always hopes in every service.
