With the Blessings of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, Father Agathangelos Masteas has been appointed to minister the spiritual and pastoral needs of the Riverina Region, the churches of the Holy Archangels in Albury, and the Dormition of Our Lady in Wagga Wagga.
Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis whom both churches His Grace oversees, visited both Wagga Wagga and Albury and presented Father Agathangelos to the respective congregations.
Bishop Bartholomew emphasized that the vision of Archbishop Makarios from day one of his arrival was for all churches in Australia to be ministered.
Moreover, Bishop Bartholomew stated we should be thankful to His Eminence for the appointment of Father Agathangelos Masteas who is a confessor, a polite, educated, and experienced cleric.
With the blessings of Archbishop Makarios and the guidance of Bishop Bartholomew, Father Agathangelos will be conducting all the services of Holy and Great Lent.
