Also a sufficient number of photographs of historical significance from watershed moments are included in the course of the blessed Archbishop, while the Volume begins with a message from the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, as well as with a Preface by Archbishop Makarios.
In the second part of the event, a documentary entitled “Colorful Opal: Archbishop of Australia Stylianos Harkianakis (1935-2019)” will be screened. In the 70 minutes of the presentation of the tribute to the blessed Archbishop, the course of the late hierarch will be presented with references to his youth, the period of his studies, the beginning of his ministry, his university career, his election and enthronement as Archbishop of Australia, as well as in the 44 years of his key action and contribution to the helm of the Orthodox Church in Antipodes.
Due to the restrictive measures due to the pandemic, participation in the event on December 14 will be allowed by invitation only. This will be followed by a series of similar events, which will include the screening of the documentary about the blessed Archbishop Stylianos of Australia.
