Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Diaspora Greeks Antonis Diamataris held today a meeting “of high importance,” as he said, in his office with the President of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Andreas Drakopoulos.
“As you know, Andreas Drakopoulos is Greek living in New York most of the time, whose action for the Greek diaspora and Greece is unprecedented in modern times. We discussed what the president intended to do in Greece. We also discussed larger-scale issues related to Greek diaspora in New York,” said Antonis Diamataris.
The president of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation underlined his intention to discuss any initiative of general interest, with particular emphasis on the issues related to the Greek diaspora in New York.
